La Gonave suffered less damage than some the worst hit areas of Haiti after the January 12th earthquake, but many poorly constructed houses were destroyed or severely damaged. Help a family move from an unstable living situation (above left) to an earthquake-resistant structure (above right).

The Erick Family House

The Erick Family, a family of twelve, lives in this one room house.  The family has been chosen by APDAG to receive the next house they build.  Please consider sponsoring the Erick Family’s new home by organizing students, a church, or community group to raise the $3,500 necessary to rebuild this structure.
