As we kick off another exciting year for Roots of Development, we want to celebrate with all who have helped make our success possible. This Winter Island Affair is an opportunity for Roots of Development to thank our core team of supporters and to celebrate the Caribbean culture we all love. Join us as we escape the winter cold with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, a silent auction featuring one-of-a-kind opportunities and pieces from notable Haitian artists, Special Guest Speakers and other fun activities set to live music on the steel drums.

Roots of Development’s annual 50′s and 60′s Dance Party in Connecticut!
When: Saturday, April 5, 2014
Doors open at 6pm; Dancing starts at 7pm

What: Dust off your poodle skirts and bowling shirts for a party of the decades! Join Roots for a night of dancing by throwing it back to the 1950′s and 1960′s with live music from the band Flashback. There will be Haitian art for sale, raffles and a lot more fun! 50s-60s attire is encouraged! We can’t wait to see you there!
